Professional, Creative Web Design
- Creative Planning
- Design Production
- Construct the HTML
The first part of any successful creative website project is in the planning. We take time to either visit in person, or set up a Zoom call with our customers, and work up a full design brief.
This may include, likes, dislikes or particular websites they've seen in the past that they like the look of. Design is a very personal thing. What may appeal to one person, may not appear to someone else.
We have to be careful to take into consideration any design suggestions, whilst also highlighting what may or may not work well on a modern-day build. We've been doing this long enough to know now that a mixture of different fonts, sizes and colours on a website with a scrolling text ticker on a yellow background, may be something of the 90's! But believe us, it still gets requested!

The next stage of the build will be the design and production of the actual website. We will fully brief one of our design team (if they're not on the initial planning call) and share any content & suggestions that were discussed in the discovery session.
We then create the proposed website design as an image or PDF, that we will then present to the client. The purpose of doing this, is because it is far easier to change or update the various design assets of an image, than it is to do in HTML. That way we can scribble, draw, make notes as we go!
We will discuss the design with the customer and make any changes or design tweaks to the layout. Once the changes have been approved by the customer, we will take the design to final, create all the final hi-res image assets, and forward to the development team for build.

Where we differ as a website design agency is that we will take the exact design that has been produced, and build this into a website (HTML) format. This doesn't involve grabbing the basis of a pre-defined template and dropping in different colours and text. It actually involves us hand-coding the majority of the HTML and CSS ourselves.
Plus, it's important to bear in mind that all websites are powered by our fully functional Correl8 CMS. So not only will the design be unique, but the CMS will also independently control the elements of your creative design. In summary, we fit our Correl8 CMS into your chosen design and not the other way round.
Once the build is underway, part of your Correl8 hosting agreement will be access to a separate UAT (user acceptance testing) environment. This will allow us to undertake the build, content migration and testing; entirely separate from your live website. This allows full testing before a totally seamless launch! Plus, all our websites are fully responsive meaning that the same version of the website will work, and look great, across all kinds of devices from desktops to tables, to phones.
